Round Tower GAA Club takes this opportunity to wish Senior Football Captain Mick Hallows the very best this week as embarks upon his climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mick is undertaking a seven-day trek up Kilimanjaro. This entails a climb of 5,896m. Kilimanjaro is not only Africa’s highest point, but is the highest free standing mountain in the world. Mick’s trek is being undertaken for an excellent cause, with funds raised going to the Irish Cancer Society. We wish Mick a successful and safe trek.
Mick thanks all who have generously contributed to the Cancer Society on his behalf and a letter of appreciation from the Society, addressed to Mick, follows.
