Romance, rock and traditional Irish music have been lined up for a busy month of social events in Towers.
Valentines Day, Sunday February 14, will see a Mr & Mrs Quiz in the clubhouse and the couple who know each other best will walk away with a prize. Music on the night will be provided by DJ Caroline Fallon. The event starts at 8pm and will run until late. Admission is €10 per couple or €5 per head.
A disco for 9 – 12 year olds will take place in the clubhouse on Friday February 12. DJ Caroline Fallon will provide the music, with admission being €5 per head.
On Tuesday February 16, Macheef return to the club following on from their successful gig on St Stephen’s Day. (CORRECTION: THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE MARCH 16)
Then on Saturday February 27, popular Dublin band FitzaFrenic play in the club. Lead vocalist Conor McGrath is a footballer with Towers and all four members of the group are instrumentalists and deliver a very diverse sound together.
