The Round Towers Senior Footballers face Skerries Harps this Sunday 18th November in Division 1 Promotion playoff at home in the Community Centre at 11am in a crunch Division one promotion semi-final.

Towers are at home by virtue of finishing second in AFL2, just a point behind league winners Kilmacud Crokes, who were luck to escape from Clondalkin with a draw needing the ref’s whistle to save them in March. Towers will also be seeking to reverse the league defeat against Skerries away in Round one of the league where they were leading with two minutes remaining and conceded 1-2 in the final minutes to lose by four.

An eight week layoff with no games won’t have helped our Senior Footballers but recent challenges against St Marys of Saggart and Newbridge Sarsfields have kept the team ticking over.

Support all year has been excellent and we are appealing for everyone to get behind our Senior Footballers as they seek to qualify for a home playoff final on November 25th.
