Sean Cox suffered catastrophic injuries following an attack before the Liverpool Roma Champions League Semi-Final last April and has been placed in an induced coma. Fundraising is being undertaken to support his family in meeting the huge medical costs that are being incurred and support his battle for recovery. Sean’s family hail from Monastery in Clondalkin and he played for Round Tower GAA Club a number of years ago. On Sunday 16th December Dublin will play Meath in a fundraiser for Seán. The match will be played at Pairc Tailteann and is provisionally scheduled for 1.30pm. We encourage Towers supporters to make the trip and support the fundraiser. We also advise our Members and supporters the club is in the process of planning a fundraiser for Sean and details will be announced soon.
