Monastery Road hosted a primary school hurling blitz on Wednesday 15th April. Check out the pictures here. Seven teams represented four schools participating:
- St Josephs N.S x 2 teams
- Sruleen N.S. x 2 teams
- Gaelscoil na Camoige x 2 teams
- Bawnogue N.S had one team.
Each of the seven teams played a total of six matches during the Blitz in a round robin format with unlimited substitutions.
For many of the boys it was their first organised hurling game. A Football Blitz will now take place on Friday 19th April.
