ROUND TOWER B 2-12 NA FIANNA C 0-3
Towers B team continued their good form with an impressive win over Na Fianna. Fielding 6 u-12 players who had just finished a hurling match.
Towers led from the start and were leading 0-7 to 0-2 at half time with some good point scoring from Conor O’Shea and Matthew McLaughlin. Great defensive work particularly from Sean Doran and Daniel Kelly kept Na Fianna at bay.
Even though they were playing against the slope in the second half, the breeze strengthened and this helped Towers to keep constant pressure on the Na Fianna goal. A penalty from newcomer Dylan Phelan and a late goal from Conor O’Shea sealed victory for Towers.
Again many thanks to the u-12 players who took part.

UNDER 12 A
Unfortunately the under 12a team were beaten by St. Margarets. They were very under strength due to extremely late cry offs by some players. The 13 that fielded gave a great account but St Margarets had an abundance of subs and this told in the end
