Round Tower Clondalkin u15 Hurler’s are through to the championship final after a hard fought win on Sunday morning in a game that ebbed and flowed throughout both halves. It was Tower’s who scored the opening point of the game which was quickly followed by a goal, “great start”. But that seemed to kick start the Kevin’s players into action, and they who got the next 2 goals and all of a sudden it was ‘game on’. Towers went into the break with a slender lead.
The second half started as the first had with Towers scoring the first couple of points, but yet again Kevin’s never gave up and scored two more goals to leave just one point in it. Towers management made a few tactical substitutions to steady the game and this seemed to have worked with Towers getting two late goals to see out the game with a 7 point margin.
There were cheers of joy on the sideline as the referee blew for full time and Towers had made it through to the championship final. Well done to all the players and management and best of luck in the Final.
