An excellent fundraising opportunity has arisen for the club and we are asking juvenile Mentors and parents to ‘give a little to help a lot’. Bag packing offers an excellent and reliable opportunity to raise funds that will support the club as we field over 25 juvenile teams that compete in leagues and championships across Dublin in football, hurling, ladies football and camogie. The club has now been allocated the following times for bag packing at Dunnes Stores in the Mill Shopping Centre:
- Friday 18th July from 5.30pm – 8.30pm
- Saturday 19th July from 10am – 6pm
The 12pm to 2pm session on Saturday is kindly being covered by one juvenile team and we are now asking other teams to assist in the collection for the other sessions and row in behind this very important fundraiser.
Please be advised, Dunnes Stores policy is bag packers must be 16 years of age or over. We are therefore appealing to Mentors to encourage parents whose children enjoy the benefits of playing with Round Towers to give a little time – an hour or two – to help with this very important fundraising opportunity. It is crucial this fundraising opportunity is availed of! Funds are vitally required to enable us continue to support the 300+ juveniles who are playing for the club.
