Round Tower GAA Club is bringing together its 2013 Juvenile and Christmas Draws in a concerted effort to support the development and promotion of Gaelic Games amongst children and teenagers within the club and wider Clondalkin community.
We are kindly asking our Members, supporters, friends and the wider community to support this very important fundraiser if they are in a position to do so. Funding raised from it will play a lead role in supporting the club in the employment of a full-time Games Promotion Officer – an exciting and ambitious objective in the club’s recently launched five year strategic plan.
Round Tower GAA Club has taken the decision the sole focus of its annual Christmas fundraising draw will be on the promotion of Gaelic Games amongst young people within the club and wider community and the development of their playing skills.

The success of the Dublin Footballers and our very own Jim Gavin has created great excitement for our national games and children and teenagers are eager to participate. The Games Promotion Officer will engage with Mentors within our club and our local schools to support them in the coaching of Gaelic Games. I encourage our Juvenile Mentors, parents of juvenile’s playing with our Club and people with an interest in supporting young people in Clondalkin to play GAA to support this very important fundraiser.”
Tony Delaney, Club Chairman, stated: “I encourage all our Members who are in a position to support this very important fundraiser to try do so. Our annual Christmas draw is a very important fundraiser on the club calendar and we have decided this year it will combine with our Juvenile draw and this will enable all proceeds to promote Gaelic Games in Clondalkin and develop playing talent within our club, local schools and wider community. Developing children and teenagers interest in Gaelic Games brings fitness and social benefits to the wider community and if people are in a position to support the draw I kindly ask you do so. We are very thankful and appreciative of the ongoing support of our Members and the wider community and appreciate pressures people are under at present.”
