Round Tower GAA club is delighted to announce a significant new community partnership with Wilsons Auctions.
Over the past 85 years, since Wilsons Auctions was founded in 1936 by William J Wilson, the business has grown from a single auction site in Antrim, to the largest independent auction company in Ireland and Britain, with a significant presence now at Kingswood just down the road from our club.
The partnership with Wilsons Auctions will allow our club to continue to invest in a number of community specific activities, including our Le Chéile Programme, fun based games for children with special needs, and our Green Team.
Ricky Wilson, Wilsons Auctions Director/Auctioneer said: “We are delighted to be able to support Round Tower GAA club through this community partnership. After the last year, there is a huge need for local clubs to get back on their feet and bring the community together again through local
events. It will be great to see this support benefit Round Tower GAA across the board including activities for children with special needs.”
Round Tower GAA Club Vice-Chairperson Alan Milton added: “We would like to thank Wilsons Auctions for their support of our club. Seeing the club return to full activity in recent months after the challenges of the pandemic has been hugely encouraging and the support of local businesses such as Wilsons Auctions assists us greatly in that process. The growth areas of our club include our Le Chéile Programme and the activities of our Green Team and we will look forward to partnering with Wilsons into the future.”
