The Senior footballers play off against St Maurs on Sunday in Rush fell victim to the weather – it is hoped to reschedule during the week – confirmation will be posted on www.roundtower.ie
The Intermediate footballers were beaten by Lucan Sarsfields in their playoff.
The Intermediate Hurlers play their Cup Final versus Setanta on Friday evening at 8.30pm under lights in Ballymun – all support welcome.
The Annual General Meeting of Round Tower GAA Club took place in the clubrooms on Wednesday last. The Executive Committee for 2009/10 was elected as follows: President: Mick Dunworth, Vice Presidents: Tommy Keogh & Jim Nolan, Chairman: Padraig McCarthy, Vice-Chairman: Paddy Delaney, Honorary Secretary: Niall Connaughton, Asst Secretary: Dean Alford, Honorary Treasurer: John Ryan, Asst Treasurer: Bernie Cronin, Members: Richard Keane, Brian Douglas & Pat Lawless.
A Club Race night will take place on Saturday 5th December in Harolds Cross. Tickets are €20 and include return transport by bus, entry to track, programme, entry to €1000 draw and a draw for 10 x €100 prizes. For tickets contact Paddy Delaney, Jimmy Lee or Richard Keane.
Membership for the coming year is now due – new member forms and renewal forms for existing members are available in the clubhouse.
Bingo continues this Tuesday evening in the club at 8pm.
Volunteers are needed to assist with decorating the club for Christmas on Wednesday the 2nd and Thursday 3rd of December from 7pm to 10pm – just come along!
The Club shop is open every Monday evening from 7.30pm until 8.45pm – there is a large amount of items currently in stock.
