Just four days to go to Ramble Aid 2014! This notice provides important information for participants. We remind Round Tower GAA Club has teamed up with The Carers Association and South Dublin County Council for their annual fun run & walk that is taking place in Corkagh Park this Sunday, 29th June. You can choose to walk or run the 5km or 10km course and can register for €10 on the morning. The walk will proceed at 11am from the St John’s entrance. All your registration fee will go towards The Carers Association and sponsorship will support the club in fielding its 40+ teams. SPONSORSHIP We’re now asking participants to return their sponsorship cards and money ahead of Sunday morning’s event. They can be returned to the clubhouse and please ensure your name and contact details are on the card. Thank you to all who are participating and for those have not yet signed up you can still pick up a sponsorship card from the club. CLUB COLOURS We are asking all Round Tower players and supporters to wear club colours for the run/walk. A large number is expected to participate and we ask Towers colours are featured prominently. All participants are invited back to Round Tower clubhouse after the event to enjoy free refreshments as a ‘thank you’ for your endeavours. NB: INFORM OF PARTICIPATION If you are not in a position to return your sponsorship card it is very important you inform of your participation in the event by emailing rambleaid@gmail.com or Sean McNamara, Juvenile Secretary, at mcnamarajp@eircom.net. JUVENILE PARTICIPATION In respect of above – NB: INFORM OF PARTICIPATION – it is very important we are aware of number of juveniles participating. Goodie bags will be provided to juveniles participating but we need to be aware of numbers required in advance. TEAMS For teams with a number of participants, you are asked to designate one person to pay registration fees applicable at the relevant station on the morning. STEWARDS REQUIRED Can you provide some spare time Sunday morning? Stewards/marshals are being sought to assist.
