It’s a massive weekend on the football playing pitches for Round Tower GAA Club. We’ve a championship semi-final and crucial league fixtures to look forward to. Best of the all the teams competing and we’re encouraging support for all teams. 

 

Senior Footballers v Castleknock, AFL 2, Saturday, throw-in 6pm, Somerton Park

This Saturday, August 23rd, our Senior Footballers look to continue their winning run in AFL2 when they travel to Castleknock. Towers have won their last four and are now third in the table. Castleknock lie sixth in the table and with just three fixtures remaining this is a crucial clash for both sides. We’d encourage Towers supporters to make the trip if they can to provide the lads with support for this important clash. Throw-in is 6pm. 

 

Intermediate Footballers v St Monicas, AFL 4, Saturday, throw-in 6pm

Also at 6pm on Saturday, the Intermediate Footballers face an important league clash v St Monica’s.  A recent dip in form has seen the Intermediates drop down the table and now sit fifth from bottom of the league. Two points would be massive in ensuring their survival. Support for the lads can give them a great encouragement. 

 

Junior A Footballers v Naomh Fionnbarra, Junior C Chamionship SEMI-FINAL, Sunday, throw-in 11am

Probably the headline fixture. Round Tower Junior A Footballers are gunning for a League and Championship double! They remain unbeaten in league and championship action and sit top of Adult Football League 8. It’s championship semi-final this Sunday. The opposition is Naomh Fionnbara let’s help make home advantage count! Numbers required to cheer on the lads! Throw in at the Community Centre is 11am. Best of luck to the lads. 

 

Junior B Footballers v Thomas Davis, AFL 10 South County, Sunday, throw-in 3pm

Local rivals Thomas Davis are the opposition for the Junior B Footballers this Sunday when travel to Kiltipper Road for this league clash. Best of luck to Bernie’s lads and the lads would welcome support Sunday afternoon.
