From the Monastery to the Boot, A Bicentennial History of the Monastery School (St Joseph‘s Boy‘s National School (1813 – 1913) is a book that has been co-authored by club Vice President Tommy Keogh, along with former Deputy Principal Gerry Flanagan and Malachy McVeigh. It is the culmination of four years of research and interviews. This Saturday, December 1st, the authors will be signing copys of the book at the Wise Owl Book Shop on Tower Road at 12 noon. This could be an excellent Christmas present for persons living in Clondalkin and this is an opportunity to pick up a signed copy.
