County rivalry is being set aside in Round Tower GAA Club the first Saturday of September as GAA fans will gather for a night of food, music, prizes and fun on the eve of the All-Ireland hurling final. The club’s annual Up 4 the Match brings together GAA fans on Saturday, September 3rd, the night before the illustrious occasion.
This year’s guests are being treated to a barbecue, free glass of wine and music late into the night. A host of spot prizes will be also be on offer.
“The night promises to be an excellent evening of entertainment offering great value and it brings GAA supporters from a wide range of county’s together before a massive occasion for the GAA,” Alan McLoughlin, chair of Round Tower GAA club’s social committee commented. “We’re particularly keen to extend an invitation to the supporters of the finalists, Kilkenny and Tipperary, who may be staying in Clondalkin the night before the match. They will be extended a very friendly welcome and there’s a great atmosphere on the night, with the big match the following day. “
