The Executive committee in conjuction with the lotto committee have conducted a review of the Round Tower weekly lotto with a view to maximising its potential revenue. The primary function of the Round Tower lotto is to generate much needed income on a weekly basis for the running of the many teams within the club. Round Tower lotto has by far one of the most generous prize funds in club lottos, guaranteed weekly prizes of 5x 100 euros. A quick scan of various GAA Lotto’s throughout the country will confirm that these prizes are very attractive. Over the last 2 years the club has given out prizes to the value of almost 50,000 euro.
Having discussed all options the following amendments will apply to the lotto from Monday May 2nd.
A fifth number will be drawn on Monday night at the lotto.
This number will be known as the “bonus ball”.
Any purchaser matching the first 4 numbers drawn will be able to claim or share in the jackpot.
In the event of no winner of the jackpot there will a lucky dip draw for 3x 100 euro prizes.
Anyone who matches three numbers plus the bonus number will win or share one prize of €200.
In the event of no winner of the jackpot it will be increased by €100 for the jackpot for the next draw
