A Chara,
On Wednesday 25th September, Round Tower GAA Club hosted a dedicated workshop to bring a cross section of mentors and members together to seek feedback regarding the development of Gaelic Games within our Club.
Discussions at the workshop focused upon club values, our coaching structures and supports, and enhancing the player pathway to enable all our players to fulfil their potential. We thank everyone who participated in the workshop and our Working Group that facilitated the discussion.
Arising, the Working Group has now brought together a High Performance Framework that maps out a pathway for the Club Executive and the wider Club to consider as it strives to improve the delivery of performance both on and off the playing pitches. The Framework is a very comprehensive and well-considered document that can provide a basis to improve performance levels within the club.
On Thursday 14th November at 8pm in the Clubrooms the Framework will be presented to Club Members at a specially convened presentation.
The Executive Committee is of the view the Framework provides a basis to enhance the coaching and support structures within the club and to enable our players across all codes to perform and compete at a higher level.
One possible outcome from the this plan is an expanded Executive Committee through the creation of new roles and the recruitment of members to fill these newly created positions. Such a scenario will need the backing of club members at the Club AGM.
We urge Members with an interest in driving the club forward to attend this important presentation. We have recently completed the development of one of the finest club gyms in the country within grounds that host some of best playing facilities in Co Dublin.
Now we are pushing to move onto a new level and to ensure the club has in place optimum structures to drive it forward.
Member support and backing will fulfil a key role in attaining success for the framework and we look forward to your attendance and input.
Thank you in advance for your support,
Round Tower GAA Club Executive
