Disappointment on the field but a successful Feile off the field for Round Towers in Division 10 last weekend.
Despite being competitive in all three group games Round Towers lost all three to exit the competition after lunch.
Raheny 4-05 Round Towers 2-01
Clontarf 1-09 Round Towers 1-02
Ballinteer St. Johns 4-02 Round Towers 2-03
The best performance came in the final group game against Ballinteer where Round Towers outscored their opponents in the second half but couldn’t make up a 6 point half-time deficit.
Ballinteer went on to take the Division 10 title, beating Raheny in Monday’s final – both finalists coming from the Clondalkin group.
The visiting teams all complimented the set-up on the day – thanks to the U14 parents, club management and Moyle Park College.
