Seamus Carew RIP

Round Tower GAA Club extends its condolences to the family of the late Seamus (Shay) Carew. Shay was a long-time supporter of Round Tower GAA Club. We take this opportunity to express our condolences to Shay’s sister Marie Cronin, his brother-in-law and Club Vice-President Bernie Cronin, his nephew Andrew, Club Chairman, and the extended Cronin family. They are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Funeral details follow.

The death has occurred of Seamus (Shay) Carew
Clondalkin, Dublin / Drumcondra, Dublin

Carew Seamus (Shay) 29th March 2021 (Clondalkin and late of Drumcondra, Ex Revenue Commissioners and Area President of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul) suddenly at home, beloved son of the late Margaret and Malachy and much loved brother of Marie; sadly missed by his loving sister, brother-in-law Bernie, niece Linda, nephews Andrew and Derek, grandnieces, grandnephew, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

May Shay rest in peace

In line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held. Shay’s family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew Shay would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in his memory. Those who cannot attend the Funeral Mass due to the current restrictions please feel free to leave a message in the condolence book at the bottom of RIP.ie page.
