Round Tower 2-17 Na Fianna 1-3

Another big day for the boys as they took to the Commo field for their first ever Championship quarter final. And they didn’t disappoint. Na Fianna turned up with plenty of confidence and made it difficult in the early stages. But it was clear that Towers were getting on top around the middle third and began to dominate possession before long. After a steady flow of points, 2 goals arrived in the 2nd half guaranteeing a well deserved win on a final scoreline of 2-17 to 1-3.
The boys displayed great teamwork all through which is reflected in their tally of 14 points from play. Plenty of MOTM contenders but the nod goes to Conor Morrow. An all action display as usual with 2 great points for good measure. Well deserved Conor. Special mention to the five u14s who helped us today. Thanks also to the parents and many others for their support on the sideline. And to Gary Q for his valuable input once again. Onward now to the semi-final in 2 weeks time. Towers Abú!
