This year the Juvenille section is running “Elite Camps” at Easter for the under 13-under 16 players. The camps will run over two afternoons each week of the Easter Holidays. The venue is Moyle Park and the Clubhouse and they will run from 1:30-4pm. For the Hurling Camp we have Dotsie O Callaghan and Liam Rushe from the senior Dublin team and also on one of the days we have the national director of Hurling, Paudie Butler. The football camp will have Eamonn Fennell of the Senior Dublin squad and Niall Cooper from Parnell Park running drills and giving conditioning advice.

We expect to cover topics such as nutrition, conditioning and tactics as well as making it an active session.

The cost of these camps is €30. These camps are a direct response to players, parents and mentors requesting we do something for the older players. The level of expertise we are bringing in is very high and I would expect the players to get a lot out of both camps. I would also encourage anyone who can to get down to one of the sessions and if you can swing it I would recommend being there for Paudie Butler who is a brilliant coach and a wee bit inspirational. Can you push these camps with your squads over the next few days.

Zoe is coordinating the registrations and we will be holding registrations on Friday afternoon 2-4pm and next Saturday 10am -2pm in the clubhouse. If players/parents cant get down to these they can register with you and you can forward on their details to Zoe.

Camp dates as follows – Football 30th & 31st March, Hurling 7th & 8th April.
