The excellent work of the Ciarán Carr Foundation continues in the Clondalkin community and further beyond. Clondalkin Credit Union is the latest recipient of a defibrillator presented by the Foundation. “It is vital such life-saving equipment is readily accessible within busy public places and we are delighted Clondalkin Credit Union are recipients of a defibrillator,” Gemma Carr of the Foundation commented. Arising from the work of the local charity, defibrillators are placed in key strategic locations in Clondalkin village, the Dutch village, Cherrywood, Bawnogue, Greenpark, Neilstown, Ninth Lough and Newlands Cross. Well to all involved for their continued excellent work in raising awareness of SADs (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome), greater awareness surrounding the importance of life-saving equipment and trained use in it, and promoting the importance of players undertaking regular screening.
