Caoimhe Young represented Round Towers in the Dublin Rose contest this year and after having made such an impression on the judges and the Dublin Rose team, she along with five other girls have been picked out of forty two contestants to volunteer in Chernobyl in a mental asylum for children up to 18 years old.
This once in a lifetime opportunity has been offered to Caoimhe by the Dublin Rose team, Adi Roche and CCI (chernobyl children international). She is delighted to say that she is travelling over on the 28th of October to care for these vulnerable and kids who are in desperate need of love and tlc.
In order for Caoimhe to go, she need’sto raise €1000 of which ALL will go towards basic services and essentials for the kids.
I am holding a table quiz in Round Towers clubhouse on Friday the 10th of October at 8pm.
It is €20 a table and 4 people per table.
All support is very much appreciated for this more than worthy cause!
