Great news that our recent activities to establish a formal camogie section within the club are starting to take shape with news of the two recent appointments. We are delighted to announce that Jenny Byrne has been appointed as the new chairperson of the section. Jenny brings a great level of experience and enthusiasm to the role. Jenny is a current inter-county referee, county board official and a long time player with our senior team, including being part of the winning championship team. We are also delighted to announce that Sue Rafferty has also agreed to become secretary as well. Sue is currently the admin support to both our U8 and U9 teams and her efficiency and infectious personality will no doubt be of great benefit to Towers. We wish both ladies the very best in their new posts.
