Cairn announces new sponsorship of Round Tower GAA Club Clondalkin as it continues to build momentum on Seven Mills, Dublin 22
· Developed by Cairn, Seven Mills is Ireland’s newest town and will be home to up to 15,000 people,
· Almost 2,000 of 5,500 planned homes at Seven Mills that will be delivered by Cairn have been granted full planning permission
Cairn (Cairn Homes plc) is delighted to announce a new sponsorship of Round Tower GAA Club in Clondalkin as it continues to build momentum in developing Ireland’s newest town Seven Mills, in Dublin 22.
Cairn began its partnership with the club in 2021 and is now entering its third year of supporting the club which is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year.
The sponsorship includes support of the club’s adult Camogie team, as well as a renewal of its sponsorship of the Club’s Towers Óg which caters for four to seven year olds, .
Cairn’s support of RoundTower GAA is a perfect partnership given the company’s deep commitment to creating sustainable communities such as Seven Mills where people can thrive.
Round Tower GAA Club is one of the oldest clubs in Ireland and was established one month after the GAA was founded in 1884.It is the home club of Jim Gavin, Maria Kavanagh, Hannah Tyrell, Derek Murray, Paddy and Tony Delaney.
Cairn began construction on Seven Mills in 2022, with over 200 residents calling Parkleigh in Seven Mills home since November last year. Almost 2,000 homes out of the 5,500 planned new homes that Cairn will deliver at Seven Mills have been granted planning permission.
Situated between Lucan and Clondalkin on the banks of the Grand Canal, Seven Mills forms a major component of the Clonburris Strategic Development Zone (SDZ). When complete, Seven Mills will be home to over 15,000 people with significant commercial, retail, and office space which will employ over 10,000 people. It will also consist of eight new schools and 10 creches. Every home will be within a five-minute walk of services and amenities.
