Round Tower GAA Club extends its condolences to the family of the late Anne Byrne. Anne was a supporter of Round Tower and her son Podge has been keenly involved in our hurling section for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Anne’s family at this difficult time. The death has occurred of Anne Byrne (née Kelly)
Cappaghmore, Clondalkin, Dublin
Byrne, Anne nee Kelly (15th April 2021) (Cappaghmore, Clondalkin, Dublin 22) passed peacefully with loved ones in the wonderful care of Lexington House Nursing Home; beloved wife of the late Joe and dear mother of John, Patrick, Michael, Brendan and Edel, doting grandma of Sorcha, Finn, Rory, Eoghan, Sarah, Rachel, Niamh, Josh, Nessa, and Darcey; sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, dear friends and wider community whose lives she touched with her kindness and love of life.

Due to Government guidelines Anne’s funeral Mass will take place privately on Monday 19th April at 11am in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin followed by burial in Esker Cemetery, Lucan. There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Anne’s cortège leaves her home in Cappaghmore on the way to the church.
