Belated new year wishes to all of our members and every best wish to you and your families in 2025 on and off the field of play.
As of today, club membership for the year ahead is open via the Foireann portal at foireann.ie – the GAA’s official games management and membership system.
As per the vote taken at the club AGM late last year, there is a 7.5% increase to all membership categories with the exception of Senior Citizens.
Members are reminded that there will be a 33% surcharge for any membership processed after March 5 (membership paid by instalments started before this date will not be impacted).
The rationale behind this approach is to help us generate revenue to offset the large outlays we have in quarter one before the season starts.
The club will host membership events in the clubhouse in the coming weeks to assist those who have difficulty using foireann.ie – this will be the only opportunity to process cash membership.
Once again we strongly encourage parents to take out membership along with their children in support of the club and to help offset the considerable costs involved in club operations.
By way of example:
The provision of the Club’s Long Term Athletic Development Plan, our contribution towards the Club GPO, registration, insurance and affiliation fees combined cost €140,000 per annum.
Thanks to all who support the running of the club through the prompt renewal of membership annually.
The usual family packages are available, and members are reminded that full membership voting rights are dependent on the commencement of the renewal process by March 31.
All players must be registered members of the club and the GAA/LGFA/ Camogie Association before fixtures commence and player injury scheme cover at all times is dependent on membership compliance.
Please remember to indicate when paying your membership, whether LGFA and or Camogie membership is required as this ensures you or your child is registered with those organisations.
All memberships are automatically registered with the GAA.
All players on teams using the gym from the minor grade (inclusive) upwards must also include the gym levy for use of this facility and this will audited.
A special word of welcome to those who may be taking out membership for the first time. You must create a new profile on foireann.ie if you are a first time user.
