This weekend see’s the Tommy Curran, Kay Bevan & Mick Dunworth Cups all on this Bank Holiday weekend in the Community Centre. This is always a highlight in our games calendar every year and all are welcome as always.
Saturday afternoon at 2pm see’s the Tommy Curran & Kay Bevan Cup’s being played simultaneously by the Hurling & Camogie sections, while on Sunday, our Under 21 Footballers face St Annes at 3.30pm. After being narrowly beaten by Naomh Mearnog in last year’s Championship final, they are aiming to go one better in this year’s championship and on the back of some recent comfortable wins away to St Marys and home to St Finians Newcastle, the Mick Dunworth Cup is proving excellent preparation.
Hopefully a good crowd will come out and support all involved and light refreshments will be served in the clubrooms after.
