The Gazette newspaper is expanding its sports section and is inviting club members to send match reports, news of events and pictures to be featured in their sports pages. As part of the Gazette Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and local sport, we are delighted to announce some very exciting news.
We are expanding our sport section in the coming weeks, and will be featuring even more local sport than ever in our pages!
In order to ensure that we are covering your sport and your community to the best of our ability, I am asking you, as one of our valued sporting partners, to help us in delivering the best service possible.
What I would ask is that, each week of the sporting year, starting now, you send to us all the news from your week of sport.
We would be delighted if you could send in match or event reports every week – let us know how your stars and teams performed at all levels, from Academy to Senior and everything in between.
We also need high resolution images from your events and matches (i.e. the best quality images, over 500kb in file size for those of you who are technically minded!) – and ample notice of your upcoming events so that we might be able to send along a photographer to cover the event in the newspaper.
As well as that, we need to know about the biggest achievements, the best performances, the events coming up in the coming weeks, and everything else that matters to you – because that is what matters to us.
Gazette Sport continues to thrive, and it is your efforts and achievements that make us able to bring the best of Dublin sport to the readership of the Gazette across the capital. Please join us in making that experience even more incredible.
