The Under 8 Hurlers finished the 6th and final week of the Annual Indoor Hurling Tournament in Gormanston on Sunday. They showed great skills and battling qualities to finish with bronze medals for 3rd place in their two Groups of Eight Teams.
The final games last Sunday were followed by a party and presentation of medals by the Juvenile Chairperson Catherine Moran back in the Clubhouse. We had an excellent six weeks with parents showing great commitment to make the 100km round trip every week.
League hurling continues this Sunday with home games on the All Weather Pitch against Thomas Davis at 11.30. We are looking for new players born in 2005 to add to the great bunch that we have already. Please spread the word.
