Our under 9 team signed off the season with our last training session in the Community Centre on Tuesday evening. This has been a very good year for the boys competing against all the best southside teams in a 3 team league. The standard of football and hurling has improved a lot during the year and we have managed to increase our numbers by 6 towards the end of the year.
Awards for hurling and football were presented and the winners were as follows:
Most improved footballer: Darragh McGowan
Footballer of the year: Cillian McNamara
Most improved hurler: Sam Mulvañney
Hurler of the year: Adam Mahony
