The under 8 Camogie team headed up the mountains to Stars of Erin early on Sunday morning. On a very windy morning they first took on Bray Emmets. They battled hard and were unfortunate not to score at the start but Emmets took the lead. The girls never gave up even with a few injuries and continued to fight on. Next match was against Thomas Davis, once again the girls started really well and got some cracking goals; they were well on top of the game but just began to tire slightly and Davis got a couple of scores to draw level. All in all a great display by the under 8s and more importantly they had great fun too! Big thanks to all the parents and siblings on the sidelines for getting all the girls up and out so early.
