Congrats to intermediate hurlers on winning AHL4 league after defeating St. Marks. A victory over Scoil Ui Chonaill will secure the AFL8 league for Junior A footballers on Tuesday at 7.30pm in Monastery Road.  Senior footballers face UCD in Belfield at 8pm in semi-final of B Championship.

 

Caoimhe Young represented Round Towers in the Dublin Rose contest this year and along with five other girls has been picked to volunteer in Chernobyl in a mental asylum for children up to 18 years old. This opportunity has been offered to Caoimhe by the Dublin Rose team, Adi Roche and Chernobyl Children International. In order for Caoimhe to go, she need’s to raise €1000 of which all will go towards basic services and essentials for the kids. Celebration of 25th Anniversary of Intermediate Hurling Championship win will take place in clubhouse on Saturday 18th October commencing at 8.30pm.

 

Following the Summer break the club nursery has resumed on Saturday and is open for 4 to 7 year olds in Monastery Road from 10am to 11.30am. All are welcome, with GAA games and skills delivered in a fun environment to allow children learn the skills of football and hurling. There will be a disco with DJ Robbie Moore for 4th, 5th & 6th classes in the clubrooms on Friday 17 October from 7.30 to 9pm. Entry €5.

 

The crafts fair returns on Sunday 30th November in the clubrooms. The event will run from 11am-4pm and bookings can be made with Jessica O’Malley on 0872806273. The cost per stand is €20.
This week’s lotto jackpot €10,000.  Play on-line at www.roundtower.ie before 6pm Monday for this weeks draw. Results from 6/10/2014: numbers were 8,11,17,27; Bonus Ball 7. There was no winner of the Jackpot of €10,000.Congratulations to Sandra&Debbie; Teresa Gray; and Kitty Egan who were the three €100 winners and also to Breda Finneran who was the Bonus Ball winner.
