Our U15 Footballers had their first outing after a long summer break and what an outing it was. After a slow start we went Score for Score with St. Catherine’s, who at one stage pushed ahead, but right before half time we nicked a goal to go ahead by 3 points at the break with a half time score of Towers 2:05 v 2:02 St. Catherine’s.. The second half started a lot quicker with three quick goals in succession for St. Catherine’s which pushed them ahead by 7 points… After this the management team made a triple substitution which created a siege mentality and we picked off 11 scores without reply from Catherine’s, Catherine’s got a a further few scores to keep our lads on their toes, but in the end we were just too strong with our lads pushing on to get a further seven scores.
