Round Tower GAA Club has teamed up with The Carers Association and South Dublin County Council for their annual fun run & walk to take place in Corkagh Park on Sunday 29th June. Ramble Aid 2014 will feature two options for participants who can choose to run or walk: a 10km and 5km course. Children, teenagers, adults young and old, will come together on the day to support the two organisations. It will commence at 11.00am and registration is €10 per adult and €5 per child, with all registration monies benefitting the chosen charity The Carers Association. This presents a fantastic opportunity for Round Towers Members and supporters to support the club in fielding 40+ teams representing Clondalkin in all GAA codes. Every team in the club is being asked to put forward six to eight sponsored participants and to wear the club colours. Those going forward representing their teams can be supported by fellow players, friends and family alike. They can choose to walk or run the 5km or 10km course. All participants will be invited back to Round Tower clubhouse after the event to enjoy free refreshments as a ‘thank you’ for their endeavours. Every entrant entering on behalf of the club will receive a sponsorship card. Your registration fee will go entirely towards the Carers Association. We appreciate times remain tough but ask every team and our Members and supporters to get behind this great opportunity to join the wider community in supporting two fantastic organisations doing great work in the local community. Sponsorship cards will be available from behind the bar in the club from this Saturday, 7th June. People participating are asked to email their name and contact details to rambleaid@gmail.com or text Club PRO Michael McGlynn at 0879082970.
