Our senior ladies begin their 2014 championship campaign this Wednesday, 14th May, when they face Kilmacud Crokes at home. The venue is Monastery Road and throw-in is at 7.30pm. We wish the girls the very best and all support welcome.

This match will mark the end of an era for one of the most influential Towers ladies players over the past ten years. It is with great sadness for the ladies section and the wider club that Ruth Collins will play her final match in the green and white hoops on Wednesday evening. Next week Ruth will return to her native Cork along with her beautiful daughter Molly. Ruth has made a massive impact from the start among the Towers ladies team with her strong langer accent always there with advice and encouragement. Ruth captained the the ladies to the Intermediate Championship success in 2011, with inspirational displays on the pitch and leadership qualities. Off the pitch Ruth is a true lady, a great friend and one of the strongest people we know. She will be missed greatly by everyone who has the pleasure of knowing her in Towers. We thank Ruth for all she has done in the Towers jersey and wish her and Molly the very best of luck for the future. Thanks to Caitriona McGrath for the kind words.
