Between The Posts now available online

By on June 24, 2010

The site administrators are delighted to announce Between The Posts, the club newsletter, will now be available online every week. This excellent newsletter, which Tom Brady has been putting together since 1998, plays a valuable role in informing the club members of what is going on within the club. Fixtures, match reports, social events, pictures, notices, lotto results and special occasions are all a feature of the newsletter.
Providing the newsletter online will allow members and website viewers across Ireland and from all over the world to keep up to date with what is going on within the club. We particularly hope it will allow supporters of the club who have moved from the area to foreign shores to keep informed of what is going on in Towers and they may well see names and faces that they recognise. Thanks to Tom Brady for his dedication and commitment to the newsletter over the past 12 years.
We have also published the first issue of the newsletter – which hadn’t been named at that stage. It is dated September 9, 1998. The newsletter was subsequently named Between The Posts after a competition was run to find a name for it and Alan Kehoe came up with the name that exists to the day. The drawing of the Round Tower that appears on the newsletter heading was supplied by Tom Woods. We hope to supply back issues of the newsletter and hope you enjoy reading the current issue and any back issues that appear.
