Congratulations to Jim Gavin on guiding the Dubs to a first national football league title in 20 years.

Last weekend, the senior footballers defeated Trinity Gaels, the intermediates defeated Man of War, the juniors lost to Portobello and the minors defeated Fingal Ravens. Earlier in the week, the seniors lost to Fingal Ravens and the inters lost to Scoll Uí Chonaill.

Membership is now overdue. Renewal forms available on the club website or in reception in the clubrooms. Any adult players that have failed to pay are not covered by the insurance scheme and should not train or play until membership has been paid.

On Friday 3 May, the Junior footballers will receive their medals in the club following their double winning league and cup 2012 season. Doors open at 8pm and entry is €5.

Lotto results 22/4/2013: numbers were 17 – 19 – 24 – 30; Bonus Ball 9. There was no winner of the Jackpot of €10,000. Congratulations to Philip Mullen, Susan Nicholson and Michael Moran who were the three €100 winners. No Match 3 + Bonus Ball winner. This week’s Jackpot €10,000.

A FIFA playstation tournament will be hosted this Bank Holiday Monday 6th May. The tournament is open to secondary school students up to Junior Cert year. You must register with Cathal at Frames Etc (Convent Road – above Rainbows Hairdressers) for this tournament and lots more activities. Mentors are encouraged to spread the word. The tournament will run from 5pm – 9pm and entry is €3.
