Congratulations to The Towers Senior ladies & management who beat Clontarf in the Intermediate Championship final on Wednesday last.

 

The Minor Hurlers face Ballyboden St Enda’s in O’Toole Park in the Division two league final on Monday 25th July at 7.30pm.

 

The Intermediate Hurlers were narrowly beaten by St Peregrines in the Championship.

 

The Junior A Footballers beat St Annes in the league.

 

All ticket orders for the Dublin footbal quarter final against the winners of Tyrone & Roscommon on Saturday 6th August must be placed by close of business this Thursday 28th July in the clubrooms. Tickets are priced at €30 for Stand, €20 for Terrace and €5 for Children.

 

Round Towers is offering you the chance to showcase your talent! Young or old, you could be the next big thing and the Towers Got Talent competition will afford you the opportunity to take to the stage and perform. There is no age limit for this competition so if your talent is in singing, playing instruments, dancing, comedy or you have something else to bring to the show, we want to hear from you. Entry forms are available from behind the bar or from members of the social committee to be completed and returned no later than July 29th. NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted!!! The Intermediate Hurlers will hold a karaoke night in the clubrooms on August 5th. Tickets are priced at €5 with throw-in at 8pm. All are welcome to attend and bring their singing voice along with them!

 

Gaelic 4 Fathers light training session continues on Wednesdays at 7.15pm in Colaiste Bride along with a mixed session on Fridays in the Community Centre at 7.15pm. Spread the word, all welcome!.

 

This week’s Lotto numbers were 8 – 10 – 25 – 29 Bonus Ball 22. There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot of €3,200. Congratulations to Gina + Luke Garrigan, Jillian Smith and Bernie Walsh, who were the three €100 winners. Next weeks jackpot is €3,300.

 

Saturday last saw the finals of Round Tower Summerfest 2011. It was the biggest Juvenile GAA tournament in the county over the summer & catered for U8 to U11 age groups. There were huge crowds in attendance for the four weeks and huge thanks must go to all involved.

 

All players, mentors & Supporters are reminded that they are representatives of Round Tower GAA Club and whilst all support is always welcome, they are expected to treat the opposition, referee and opposing supporters with respect at all times
