The Senior Footballers were narrowly beaten by Fingallians & Naomh Mearnog in the league.  

 

There will be a community-wide Flag weekend on the weekend of Friday 2nd September until Sunday 4th September. There will be collections in place all over the Clondalkin area so if you have an hour or two to spare please contact Niall Connaughton on 0876290870.

 

Round Tower GAA Club are entering a number of boat teams into the 2011 Dublin Dragonboat Regatta taking place on September 10th. There will be light refreshments and a BBQ on in the clubrooms that evening for all. Should anyone be interested in taking part, please contact Damien Murray or Niall Connaughton.

 

Round Tower GAA Club presents ‘Up for the Match’ on Saturday 4th September. Start your evening off with a BBQ + Glass of wine, followed by an evening of Trad & modern music + spot prizes. The night starts at 8.30pm & admission is €10. Tickets available from the club or social committee.

 

The deadline for entries for ‘Towers got talent’ has been extended until the end of August.

This week’s Lotto numbers were 6 – 12 – 24 – 29 Bonus Ball 17. There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot of €3,600. Congratulations to Paul & Betty, Paul Harold and Frank Cosgrove, who were the three €100 winners. Next weeks jackpot is €3,700.

 

The Development committee needs your assistance. A fundraising committee is looking for volunteers to get involved and assist in the fundraising efforts. Round Tower GAA Club wishes the very best to Siobhéal Keogh, daughter of long-standing club member and supporter Tony Keogh, who will represent Dublin in August’s Rose of Tralee competition. This is a massive honour for Siobhéal, her family, and the wider Clondalkin community. Siobhéal has played Camogie for Round Towers and all your friends in the camogie section and throughout the club wish you the very best Siobhéal.

 

The Annual Tommy Curran memorial tournament will be played on Saturday 3rd September.
