In league action the Inter Hurlers were beaten by Parnells, while the Minor footballers won against Fingallians respectively. The Junior A footballers were defeated by Ballinteer, with the Junior B team winning against St Peregrines. This week’s numbers were 8 – 19 – 25 – 27 Bonus Ball 14. Next Week’s Jackpot €6,500. The juvenile section are holding a GAA-a-thon on Sunday April 1st from 10am in Monastery Road. The day of fun and entertainment will begin at 10am when the 70 children involved with the club’s nursery will take to the field. All of the club’s juvenille teams will participate on the day and play football, hurling and camogie. They will play games against each other over nine hours in a fun and entertaining atmosphere. A strength and conditioning coaching course for players and mentors will be held in Monastery Road from 1:30pm on Saturday March 31st. The course is designed to help prevent injuries in players and is being run by Eddie Smith, director of Athletic Development. All mentors and players are encouraged to attend. The Lotto committee are looking for your assistance to sell Towers Lotto tickets on a Friday evening for one hour once a month. There will be four teams and each team will be rostered once a month and no more than one hour will be needed. Round Tower GAA Club’s Under 14 hurlers are holding a table quiz to raise money for their participation in the All-Ireland Féile competition. The quiz is being held in the clubrooms on Thursday April 5th and will test your knowledge on a wide range of topics. This is a team quiz and a table for four will cost €20. Spot prizes can be won on the night and the fun will begin at 8.30pm. All members, supporters and the wider Clondalkin community are invited to attend this event! Round Tower GAA Club wants to help you out and in doing so you can help the club purchase life-saving equipment. Anyone with old clothes, shoes, bags, belts, sheets, towels or suitcases are asked to donate them to the club. Ripped and torn items are perfectly acceptable and you can donate any goods you have by contacting Carol Cryan at 086 8117646. Money raised through recycling the goods will help the club raise funds to purhcase a defibrillator.
