Club Statement re High Performance Centre

By on July 7, 2020

In accordance with public health and GAA Guidelines, our High-Performance Centre has been closed since March. We have had discussions with the centre operator GNS (Shane Lyons trading as Tribe Nation Fitness) and have been awaiting GAA guidelines on how such centres can operate going forward. Following discussions, we regret to inform TNF will no longer operate at Monastery Road. TNF informed the Club Executive it has taken the decision because of insurmountable business challenges that have presented largely due to Covid19. Round Tower extends its thanks to Shane, his team and take this opportunity to reiterate our thanks to our high-performance working group. The club has commenced the process of finding an operator that is aligned with the club values to run our high-performance centre. In the interim, it will remain closed. We will communicate further when new arrangements are implemented and we thank all for your understanding.
