Three from three for Under 14 Footballers in League

By on April 18, 2017

Our under 14 footballers made it 3 wins in a row in the league with a brilliant 2nd half performance on Tuesday evening in the Community Centre, writes team Mentor Mark Hampson. After a short break and a disappointing Feile, it was important the lads got back to winning ways. Down by 2 points at half time the lads went out with determination in the 2nd half and put in an entertaining display. Special mention has go for the defence with strong performances from Devon Moonan, Ryan Hickey, Josh Daniels and Man-of-the-Match Jamie Kearney, which all set us up on the attacking front. Scores were contributed throughout the forward line from Aaron o Driscoll, Jay Meehan, Harry Kelly, Cian hampson and Killian O’ Donnell. The team scored 5-7 in the second half and looked like they could have played for another hour, with their fitness levels really standing to them. BIG thanks to all the support on the line and special mention to the parents who took down nets…great team effort
