Alfie Banks RIP

Round Tower GAA Club extends it sympathies to Gerry Banks and his family following the passing of his father Alfie. Gerry and his family are fantastic supporters of our club and our thoughts are with you all. Funeral details follow. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

The death has occurred of Patrick A. (Alfie) BANKS
St. Anthony’s, Sligo Road, Ballymote, Sligo / Knocknahur, Sligo

Formerly Kellystown, Knocknahur, Co. Sligo. Peacefully, at the Community Nursing Unit, Ballymote. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Mary (2010). He will be sadly missed by his family Gerard (Clondalkin), Mary (Ballinamore), Eugene, (Drimnagh), Edel (Clondalkin), Catherine Higgins (Rush) and Alan (Ballinamore), sister Minnie (Devaney), his daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, 18 grandchildren, 5 great grand-children, sister-in law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, former work colleagues in Rochford Gallagher & Co, relatives, neighbours & many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his home today, Friday from 7pm until 10pm and on Saturday from 11am until 4pm. Family time thereafter. Removal on Saturday evening to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am followed by burial in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo or the Patients Comfort Fund, Community Nursing Unit, Ballymote.
